Christopher has worked in arts marketing and communications for the past decade, beginning at the Scottish Music Centre (2009) and joining Cryptic in 2014. His primary interests lie in exploring the many opportunities offered by new technology for increasing audiences’ engagement with, and understanding of, artists’ work. This has seen him collaborate on projects with both Apple and Google and has led him to deliver a range of related seminars to artists, students and industry professionals alike. Christopher previously sat as Vice Chair on the European Music Council Youth Committee (2012-14) and currently serves on the board of Drake Music Scotland (2019). Most recently, he was invited to join the Scottish Government’s Digital Champions programme, designed to give leaders the knowledge, skills and confidence to encourage innovative use of digital tools and technology across public services in Scotland.
